This beautiful regency gown is made of 100 % cotton. A pretty small floral print makes up the bodice and the overskirt, the underskirt is made of white muslin. Bodice is lined in white muslin. Trimmed with a small ribbon of white lace around the neckline and matching lavender and sage green satin ribbon on the cuffs and hems. Back closure with 4 vintage shell buttons and handmade button loops. |

These cotton gowns have become a favorite among my customers. They are very forgiving when it comes to waist and hip line and flatter the entire woman tremendously. My basic fee to make a one layered skirt dress with short sleeves like the yellow one below is $ 70. A 2 layered dress like the one on the left is $ 75. Long sleeved versions are $ 80. Prices are for cotton dresses only, other materials and custom order quotes available upon request. Customer pays material, trim and shipping extra. |
Carrie's dress... Carrie had a new idea to spice up her skirt: A flounce. She had bought this really pretty cotton print that had a decorative border on one side and I used this border, together with a bit of lace and some matching ribbon to make a very pretty flounce. The entire dress is lined in ivory muslin. |
