Tanya's wedding party
Tanya's dress was made using a natural white silk taffeta for the bodice and base skirt, which has an A-line shape and no pleating in the back. The overskirt, split in front and trimmed with hand applied silver embroidery floss is made from a gorgeous embroidered net. The same net was used to form the short sleeves. The gown closes with buttons in the back and has more silver trim on the neckline and underbust.

The maid of honor...
Tanya's sister Zoe will be the maid of honor. Her dress was made using a blue silk taffeta with a double sheen. One weave is light blue, the other weave is royal blue, so it shimmers in different shades, depending on which angle you look at it. She has no pleats in her back skirt and I found the perfect clear pearl buttons to close it. The trim is a dark royal blue satin embroidery floss, which I hand applied to the bodice and hem. The rest of the bridesmaids will be made in a periwinkle colored dull satin which is of a lighter color than Zoe's dress.
