Kristine's dress for the Chief's Ball...
Kris sent me pictures of her in the dress the night after the ball and she looks awesome. I couldn't wait to share them here. The dress turned out a perfect fit, the color couldn't be better and I can't even imagine how impressive she must have looked like, being 6 feet tall.
The fabric is an interior deco material, coming in a solid and in an embroidered version. Depending on how you hold and look at it it shimmers either green gold or greenish black. We used the solid for the underskirt and the embroidered version for the top. I found some metallic gold lace that looked delicate and classy enough and actually not tacky at all to put on the bodice for trim.
Kris did her own shoes, a pair of tan slides she colored and beaded to match the dress.
