Kim's wedding dress...... |
Kim will marry her English lad in 2004 at a Scottish manor. She loved both Tanya's and Hope's dress, so we created a dress trying to incorporate a bit of both. The lace used on her dress was also used on another wedding gown I made in 2003, Michelle's dress. |
The lace skirt can't be trained due to the border of it's design, but the satin train of the base skirt can be buttoned up underneath for dancing and walking. |
I added pearls in a V-shape to the front bodice to make it look like the earl trim runs in a continous line all the way from the back neck down the front lace skirt, which is split center front. |
I also made a red velvet cape to go over the dress, since Scotland is quite cold the end of January. There are 2 fancy frog closures in the front. the velvet is a microfiber variety and the drape and softness is awesome, almot like silk velvet. |
Kim also will have 4 bridesmaids to attend her and I'm modelling the smallest one here, who happens to be in my size. I will replace this picture once I have pics from the wedding. The maid's dresses are made after a design I used for another wedding this year. |
