Belinda is inspired by the elegant fashions that were in style during the early 1910's. Made ever so famous by the 1997 film "Titanic", Belinda and her style aims for the timeless flair and elegance of life in First Class. Adorned by thousands of hand sewn czech glass beads this gown is a masterpiece of creativity. White dull sheen satin is overlaid by georgette, tiered skirts gracefully give a column silhouette with a high Empire waist cut. Sheer dolman style sleeves give coverage but let the upper arm shine through. Gown is fully lined and closes with a back zipper. Base skirt has back split for ease of walking. Bead color is of your choice. Sample dress is shown in Montana blue. Accent bead balls will vary or will be substituted if unavailable. Can also be done in ALL WHITE. Available in sizes 4-18. Neckline can be rounded, as shown, or square front and back. Necklines can be made much higher as well, for the Bride seeking a more modest design. This design can also be made with 3 skirt layers of sheer georgette. Main color is white, as seen, or ivory. $950 in fabrics as stated, 2 layers $1050 in fabrics as stated, 3 layers $750 in fabrics of your choice, 2 layers $850 in fabrics of your choice, 3 layers As with all designs, if you'd like an all pink version, for example, you'll need to shop for your own fabrics, to make sure you get the shade just the way you want. This dress will be made to your measurements and height, so no further alterations should be needed. The trim effects are created by hand attaching a narrow strip of georgette, cut on the bias, with beads, in a wave pattern, interspersed with pleats and folds. Belinda comes with it's own matching jacket, for the Bride who nees to cover up a bit for her wedding ceremony. Maybe it is religious requirement or it is simply cold or chilly. For whatever reason, the options are usually sparse out there and not very stylish. Belinda solves this problem with her own Bolero style jacket. The jacket has a very simple, but elegant cut to it and is made from the same fabrics as the dress. It needs to be ordered seperately, as it is not part of a set! The jacket can also be made in your choice of fabric, a Brocade is a very stylish choice, for example. This will require you to shop for your own materials. No design choice other than shown.
